Georg Nikolaidis
About me
I was born and raised in the center of Thessaloniki, a city that I continue to love. I graduated from the German School and live since I’m eighteen in my mother’s homeland, Switzerland. I earned a Master of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Basel and have been working in managerial positions within the financial industry since 2000. With my wife of Greek origin we are proud parents of a girl and two boys.
My parents, in addition to the privilege of declaring and feeling both Greek and Swiss, conveyed to me the love of creating and the joy of conquering goods, both tangible and none, (only) with constant effort. My Black Sea Greek father, handed me the gift of perseverance, my Swiss mother the gift of patience. The constant and structurted alternation of these two values are the two main “paddles” in my daily life.
From an early age, I was involved in managing my family’s real estate. My conversations with my childhood friend and partner Nikos Lemonas, founder and owner of Becode, which began in 2013, have given me the opportunity to become (more) professionally involved into the sector. Good ideas need time and the right climate to mature, and “THE PLAN C” was (finally) founded in Switzerland in 2018 with a vision to develop and provide a modern way of living and working.
